“News Reader” app coming soon from Facebook, will show NewsFeed “Flipboard” style

Facebook, the social media giant, is reportedly working on a news service application. It will be called the “Reader app”. According to the report,Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg with his team is working in transforming the NewsFeed feature of Facebook into the “most personalized newspaper”  Users will be able to see the latest news feed in the first page of the application itself as well as drill down to any topic of their choice.

According to the report, Facebook has been working into the same for more than a year now but the company doesn’t have any plan to launch the same anytime soon. Facebook recently launched clickable hashtags where in users can click on the hashtags to be redirected to a related feed and can see what others are talking about.

With Google Reader RSS service coming to an end in March, other software giants has stepped in to create alternatives for the same and capture as many readers.
