Good news for fans of Bollywood as Google has come up with an innovative plan to to take the super stars of Bollywood closer to fans. In the recently held award function at Macau, International Indian Film Academy(IIFA) awards, Google has partnered with IIFA to launch a platform where in fans can search for nominations for various awards, attend live hang outs with super stars and keep a track of all the latest development happening in the award ceremony extravaganza.
Google stated that it has used Google Search Trends, Google+ and Youtube to bring the one of its kind experience to users and fans of Indian Cinema all over the globe. Several stars took part in the innovative idea from Google with attending Hangout sessions with fans. “The idea is to get the action closer to millions of fans not just on their computer screens, but also mobiles.”, Sandeep Menon, director of marketing,Google India, stated.
Google has definitely taken a huge leap with the introduction of such a digital media platform and bringing Indian Cinema to the digital crowd has definitely shown the huge treat with technology in the era of digital media.
