Google Revamps Search Result Page, moves search categories above the results

Google search result layout is changing once again and now becoming more vertical. This new version is slowly rolling out to public. This new layout looks fresh but there are whitespaces both the side of the pages. Who know if Google starts to show up the Adwords (PPC) results both the sides to get more eyeballs? This new layout makes it easy to categorize the search results however it looks a bit awkward as the another horizontal menu is present in top.

This search layout will further push the #4 or #5 ranking website below the fold and they may find a reduction in CTR. Eitherway, this new layout is fresh and looks clean however it would take a bit more time to get use to the new layout.
