If you are very close to Google sets than there is a bad news for you guys. It is available only for one week. It would be bit shocking for you but it’s true. Goggle is going to say good bye to Google sets on Sept. 5.
From the early days of Google Labs Google Sets is proved to be the only experiment from the early days of Google Labs that’s still accessible, although it hasn’t mark off.
The coolest thing about goggle sets is that it accomplished only one thing and did it so nicely: robotically generating lists from some instances.
Google Sets would open and hide lists from the pages indexed by Google and tried to discover the lists that were applicable to the instances entered by users. For example if you enter “Blackberry” and “Apple” Google sets will automatically return you the huge list of IPhones.
"While we’ve learned a huge amount by launching very early prototypes in Labs, we believe that greater focus is crucial if we’re to make the most of the extraordinary opportunities ahead," Coughran wrote.
