Good news for webmasters whose websites are infested with spams and are wanting Google to communicate them for the same as the search engine jargon has come up with a new feature to webmasters tools which will help them in being specific while hunting down factors that hampers search engine rankings. The new tool called Manual Action Viewer has been designed to show webmasters information about when Google’s manual webspam team has broken into factors that directly affects their site rankings in search engine results page.
Google stated that it will notify webmasters when a manual spam action is taken on the website although the new feature is just an info about the same. To access the feature, webmasters has to simply click on ‘Manual Actions’ under ‘Search Traffic’ in Webmasters Tool. In case there aren’t any actions taken on the site, Google will display the same with a simple ‘No manual web spam action found’ message. Google’s Matt Cutts has explained the new inception as "A partial match means the action applies only to a specific section of a site. In this case, the webmaster has a problem with other people leaving spam on mattcutts.com/forum/. By fixing this common issue, the webmaster can not only help restore his forum’s rankings on Google, but also improve the experience for his users.”
The new tool is Google’s latest attempt in making websites less prone to manual web spams so as to retain their ranking in the search engine results page.
